Tube Thoracostomy

Tube thoracostomy is the insertion of a tube (chest tube) into the pleural cavity to drain air, blood, bile, pus, or other fluids.

Urgent Thoracotomy

A life saving procedure done for penetrating and blunt chest trauma which requires identification of bleeding vessels, parenchymal and other major injuries of the thorax.

Rigid Bronchoscopy

A life saving procedure to remove foreign bodies such as scarf pins , sewing needles etc from the airway. It is also used in management of massive hemoptysis.

Rigid Endoscopy

It is the most effective tool to remove an impacted foreign body from the esophagus such as bone , dentures , encountered in emergency settings.
